The Destination

Paradise!  Your own private, self contained holiday house that is a secluded retreat on over 2 1/2 acres on the little island of Aore in Vanuatu.

But, don't just sit there (unless you want to)!!  Our Caretaker, Sandy, will grab you a fresh coconut from the tree and you can start to plan your adventure!

​

There are a number of places to check out on Aore Island that are must see destinations:

​

Aore Island Coffee Roastery & Plantation: you can do a tour of the plantation, buy coffee beans our have it ground, plus enjoy their cafe after the tour or in Luganville.

​

Freshwater Plantation Adventures: Wander through the coconut tree groves, cocoa plants, natural caves, rainforest and interact with the farm animals. They also have a great restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

​

Aore Island Resort: The resort has a great restaurant and bar for those times where you don't want to cook and you feel like a lazy day. Their food is incredible! 

​

Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu, is home to diverse range of activities that will ignite your spirit of adventure. From the famous Blue Holes for swimming to the Millenium Cave Tour, there are activites for all levels of interest and ability.

​

Our Caretaker, Sandy, will help you get organised and give you contact details for tours and treks. We recommend booking a small bus to do a day tour and visit Port Olry, Champagne Beach, and a Blue Hole or two. Don't forget to take your snorkeling gear!

Island Fishing Santo: A locally owned, fully licensed fishing charter that creates an incredible experience for all guests. Fabrices' local knowledge of the islands and fishing spots makes this a must do when visiting. Check out his Facebook page for more information. (Fabrice also runs snorkeling tours!)

 

Wrecks to Rainforest Tours located in Luganville. Tours include Millenium Cave, Island Tour, Mount Hope Waterfalls, Port Olry, Champagne Beach, the Blue Hole, Riri River to name a few

 

Santo Horse Riding Adventures are located just 10 minutes out of Luganville. Megan has created a beautiful oasis for her horses, it has become their sanctuary. The ride takes you through the rain-forest to beach front and is a wonderful experience.

Santo Island Dive will pick you up from the house, but if you are diving be ready with your wetsuit on, the dive sites are so close there isn't enough time on the boat to get ready!
